A little Libra

Happy Mother’s Day to all the wonderful, caring, and forever nurturing mothers out there. It’s crazy this post has come about; but hey, now the cat’s out of the bag… ME, freaking ME! Melissa is going to be a MOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Still hella surreal, but this human being is really growing rapidly inside of ME. With that being said… I decided to finally share my wonderful news with you all, and also give my little one something to come back to later on in life!

Sometimes we suffer in silence. No one hears our cries, no one wipes our tears, but we still laugh.

Sometimes we suffer in silence. Long stares in the mirror while we magnify our imperfections. You reflect on that last insult that cut you deep; yet again, but we still laugh.

Hi Guys,

Welcome to 2018!! I know, I’ve been absent, but I’ve been growing. There’s so much news I’d like to share, and I will, so just sit tight for updates 🙂 To start off, I would like  to thank each and every soul, that takes the time out to read, share feedback, and grasp what is it that I’m throwing out there. There comes a time where we really do have to take advantage of the platforms given to us and I’ve found that this mean of self expression can be so liberating.

Anyway, I had already started to write this morning, but after a great conversation with a dear friend.. I’ve decided to shift focus… So, let’s talk about our Queens, our BLACK Queens.

Hi Guys,
For the past few months I’ve started writing a post, but never finishing it. I now know that’s my biggest problem in life, starting something and not seeing it through. I downloaded this app called affirmations, and I haven’t been using it awhile. So the other day, I decided to go on the app and I clicked my affirmation and it stated: “I posses the qualities to be extremely successful.” I sat there and I said to myself, the only person stopping me is me!
